A Visit of the Greatest Chef In The World
Triple three star chef Alain Ducasse at Paris Cookbook Fair

To meet many popular celebrity or three-star-chefs was normal at Paris Cookbook Fair. But when on Sunday the greatest chef in the world visited the fair, even popular chefs and authors became fans and asked living legend Alain Ducasse for an autograph or a photo. After a meeting with Gourmand President Edouard Cointreau, Ducasse visited the stand of his publishing house Alain Ducasse Edition and took the time to have a long walk over the fair. He bought several books, but mostly authors gave him their books as a present.
At the end of his two hour visit, he was enthusiastic about Paris Cookbook Fair: "I am very pleased to have participated in the 2011 Paris Cookbook Fair. I got confirmation that the cookbook market is doing well and sets free more creativity and dynamism than ever. The fair also offered me the opportunity to meet other cookbook professionals and the public. This have been passionate meetings with people who have one thing in common: the love for the cuisine."
